Whimsical Nursery

We recently converted my office to a nursery; a big decision for me since I spend a lot of time in my office creating, designing and sewing. But at the end, we want the baby to have a room of her own where she can grow into.

I kept the paint color the same. For this nursery, I like a neutral background as a canvas to start the design process. I use my Bloom, Raindrops - Mandarin, and Doiliez fabric as the design inspirations and develop the color scheme around it. And here they are...

Inspiration / Resources:

1. Paint, Kelly Moore, Malibu Beige
2. Pendant Lighting, Lamps Plus
3. Artwork, Umbrella Kids
4. Mobile, Carters
6. Changing Table / Dresser, Dwell Studio for Target
7. Tissue Cover, Yokomono studio
8. Changing pad cover - Foliage Mandarin and Glider cushion - Raindrop Mandarin
9. Bed Skirt - Doiliez Robin's Egg and Bumper - Bloom

Found you through Ohdeedoh and I love everything you did! It looks fresh, feminine, but not saccharine. My favorite part is all the gorgeous fabric!

We are expecting a baby girl in August, and I have been eyeing that dwell studio furniture. What's your take on it so far?

We like it (Dwell Studio furniture) so far. The price is reasonable for the look and quality. We are pretty satisfied.
