Love and Thanks

I was browsing through the two & from: Valentine edition this morning and came across this print from SS Print Shop
I really like her version of the Love print. I was hoping it comes in different colors. These are my favorites too.

Also, this week I got an email saying I've been selected by the Houzz community as winner of their 2013 "Best of Houzz' awards in Customer Satisfaction category. Thank you Houzz!

Mila's Abstract Art

While most young girls like pink and purple, Mila's favorite color is Green! She has been asking to repaint her room green or replacing the headboard green or how about just the button on the headboard. Well, I told her that we can add green colors to her room in form of artworks and objects for her built-ins. So I have been saving these finger painting arts she did a while back and I got a chance to purchase these green Ikea frames over the weekend. She helped me putting them up and to see that huge smile on her face afterwards....is priceless.

I'm always a big fan of Petit Collage. They just released a new collection of children products and I'm eyeing on this fabric decal growth chart for Mila. So cute!

Blue and White "Ming" Porcelain Vase

My parents gave me a small blue and white "Ming" vase {shown on right} from their antique collection few years ago and I fell in love with the royal blue color found in these gorgeous vases . I also purchased these miniature ones {shown on left} during my trip to Asia. Even though they are not antique, but I love the modern approach where they are framed and floated in between glasses.
These are some of the examples how a collection of these blue and white porcelain vases are being used in interior spaces...
in wall coverings...
in fabric...
in artwork...
and in lamp...

Dahlia Love

These fresh cut flowers from our backyard reminds me how much I love Dahlias. I love the structure and beauty of it.
I even created a fabric called Pompon Dahlia that is printed on demand and can be customized using your own color. Here's a little round up of products inspired by Dahlia.
